Large Antique Style Oval Gilt Mirror   A very lovely and decorative large French antique style oval gilt mirror with classic Rococo revival detailing, an elegant scrolling crest, ribboned base and richly textured gilt frame. Late 19th century circa. 1870–1900, measuring an impressive 112cm tall, this statement mirror has real presence, with its aged gilding and somewhat distressed time-worn finish giving it that layered look that works well in any interior.   The oval mirror plate is pretty clear, it does have the gentle signs of age – the desirable foxing and mottling in places while the frame shows natural wear and minor losses in keeping with its history.
