XXL Ceramic Mug — “D” Initial, Copper & Dark Blue

An oversized handmade ceramic mug with a generous 1 litre capacity — enough for a proper morning coffee, an unhurried tea, or a deep bowl of soup or hot chocolate without refilling. The making: Hand-built in our Scottish studio using the slabbing technique, then fired to 1240°C for strength and longevity. Small variations in thickness, glaze pooling and clay texture are part of the character — no two are identical. How it looks: Finished with a white interior; outside, a split of matte blue stone on one side and dark blue on the other, hand-built from grey stoneware clay flecked with small black stones. The front carries a copper-glazed “D” — a small personal touch that makes the mug feel like yours.
